Please don't nerf the new content, SE!

Yoshi-P, please, PLEASE don't cave to people asking for nerfs of this new content! Weeping City and Final Steps are just amazing, and especially Weeping City. It brought back actual mechanics, and the alliance needing to work as a whole to survive things. Really brought back that LOTA feel.

Yes, you may get the occasional person who gets discouraged because they just can't seem to be good enough, but for the most part, the casual who _wants_ to do well will push themselves to do better, and you'll up the average player skill level. Please leave it like this!

I agree, please don't nerf this. There's no need for everyone to clear nidhogg on day one, they'll just get the story later on then.

SE doesn't nerf based on complaints, SE nerfs based on clear rates. A6S stands testament to that.

So if you don't want the content to be nerfed, go out there and carry some people to up the rates. Far more effective than forum threads.

People don't need to be carried, they need mechanics explaining to them if they're new to the raid and more importantly, they need to be willing to learn.

I agree more on "willing to learn" and would add willing to listen !

There is a lot of slacking people comming from the void ark that think they can go through each boss Ithout doing anything (many healer too...)
My first down i had with my raid co-heal to heal other team
We were B... she had to provide heal for our teal and help the A while raising their heal
I had to shield our team and heal/raise the team C...

Exhausting ! But fun

Yeah, this patch seems to have finally given healers some healing to do, makes this healer happy. :)

No, not really. They don't need to be spoon-fed. They need to stop dying to obvious mechanics and learn their jobs. Seeing people die to Nidhogg's Horrid Roars (ground AoE) twice on the first phase even after wiping a few times is quite sad. I went to Nidhogg completely blind and only died to an AoE because of Jump's animation lock (oh, you silly goon) and it's not like I'm a hardcore raider or anything. Meanwhile, tanks weren't using their defensive cooldowns on add phase and died (could blame the healers too), healers were overhealing non-damage phases and got us wiped a few times on Akh Morn, DPS were doing crap damage and didn't manage to kill adds in time, etc.

Mechanics are pretty simple and pretty obvious, anyone who's been playing up to 3.3 shouldn't have trouble getting them done. And I definitely shouldn't be forced to tell an AST "please use Nocturnal Sect for shields during Akh Morn" because we aren't getting past silly healing checks.

Niddhogg NM is really easy once you know which attack is coming i've solo heal it more than one time as SCH

What frustrated me is some melee DPS that prefer to do their side combo instead of sharing the akh morn which is kinda horrible for the healer...

Noct is not required for akh morn
It's a raw healing mechanics even as SCH you will provide heal and not shield
For a time whm is good with cure 3, AST is laughing with lightspeed helios and sch help a lot with indom

But Sacred soil is always welcome
