So... when will offhands be blue scrip?

Sorry if it was already announced but did they say when offhand tools will be switched over to blue scrips?

To be honest, I hope they aren't switched over.

It gives people a reason to continue to collect / sell the favor mats.
And going by the fact that Aquapolis drops a ton of them, and that the items necessary to do favors have dropped considerably, I have a feeling that off hands will stay red scrips for a while.

Instead of spending the red scrips on off-hands, it's faster (and profitable) to make them and sell them on MB.

Aside from making off-hand's, it seems like there is little use for favor mats.
(Unless you want to make your own blue scrip equivalent gear for overmelding.)

EDIT: But to answer the question, I didn't see anything about this mentioned in the patch notes.

there is still some use for red scripts, some items were locked by red scripts , like 180 war/magic gear used to cost 5m a piece. never bothered to get it cause it would be a waist to get that as a glamour when u can use the favor for ur crafters. maybe now the prices will fall and i can finally get them glamour pieces i wanted xD

Last I recall

They said that script accesories and off hand will be available on the next patch (3.4 not 3.35)
That was in the 30th live letter if i'm not wrong

OP is talking about the 180 red scrip OH, which still costs 28 red scrips (as of my last login) while the MH is now 12 blue scrips. And seeing we are unlikely to get any more red scrip tokens with the new token coming out...

You can still buy them with red scrips, you would just be stupid to buy them instead of dice.

The reduced cost in blue script won't appears until the next tier is released
Like it is now for the main hand

And to be honest it cost less now to craft the OH instead of spending script in the script crap

Yup, this is very true, especially given how easy it is right now to obtain favor mats. Prices on the market board have plummeted in the last two days.

More mats in 60 dungeon
Aquapolis
And boost to'favor mats and less ovoid needed

That was sure the price would go down

Those i180 pieces (OH, belt, accessories) were not released with the class-specific left side gear, but instead, a patch later. The same will hold true with their change from Red Tokens to Blue Tokens.
