Question about "Final Verse" mechanic

So, I've been through 2 Nidhogg parties. 1st party we only got down to 47% before wipe, 2nd was the clear.

However, both parties did the "final verse" mechanic differently. 1st party got in the circles that spawn, cause when we didn't, we would wipe. 2nd party decided to stack up in the middle and not go in the circles, because someone said that going in circles causes a wipe.

We failed the 1st attempt of the latter tactic, but succeeded the 2nd time, probably because the WHM and SCH put down Asylum and Sacred Soil, and went on for the clear.

So my question is, which is the "correct" way to do this? The stacking in middle just seems impractical, to me at least. What do you guys think?

It's stacking, It's healable if everyone is there. Though its barely healable.

I think the circles are just a graphic and don't really affect how much damage is done to you. Like in Garuda when it didn't matter if you were behind the pillars or not for her ultimate attack. We stacked inside of a circle and were just fine with heals and regens. The important thing is just that the group stacks so that the healers can top everyone off. The other part of the mechanic is that the 3 adds need to die before Final Verse or it's an instant wipe (our first attempt saw a lot of DPS deaths haha).

I would guess that's about how much it did all stacked together too. The only people it dropped were people in double weakness. As WAR in Deliverance, it dropped me down to about 15kish from 25k. DPS and Healers were left at around 3-4k health

I don't know if it was due to our dps, but when we wouldn't get into one circle each we'd wipe. Once there was only one circle left empty and we wiped. The other times we all went one in one circle and made it.

we first tried to fill every circle but we wiped 3-4 in a row.. after this we decide to stack in the middle and survived it

I can say with confidence its a dps race on the 3 dragon adds, then group up and pop them shields and heals.
