Receiving multiple support reply notices

When I report a RMT spambot, I get multiple notices that there is a reply to my report.

I go into the menu and open the reply and then the flashing message in the corner of my screen disappears, but minutes later I get the notification again as if I had never received it in the first place. There is no actual new reply. And this happens again and again and again. Often I get notifications for hours. Once or twice I was still getting them two days later.
