I hope I'm not in the minority but I liked the questline. It was mostly story focused, but that's never a bad thing. Was hoping to hear something on 3.3 but I guess the demand for Hildebrand overtook development time?
Or maybe it's actually part of the quest recap the preliminary notes were talking about.
I hoping for more soon too.

The continuation of the Scholasticate is planned for 3.4
The Scholasticate was sidetracked by the new Hildy quests, which weren't originally intended as part of the Heavensward patch cycle. Briardien's investigation was intended to replace Hildibrand I think, but people were so disappointed at Hildy's absence that the devs changed plans. As Mholito says, we should see the series return in 3.4, and who knows, we may see the two cross over by the end.
I still have not done any of those Harry Potter quests, lol
