3.3, 3.4, 3.5 preditions

Here is a roadmap I put together, estimating the gear progression we'll be getting in the new few months until the 4.0 Expansion.

3.3 - Revenge of the Horde

• Niddhog EX weapons - iLvL235
• Weeping City of Mhach - i230 Gear
• WCoM - i230 - > i240 Gear upgrades
• Weapon upgrades will not be available off the bat from WCoM, will be added in later

3.4 - FFXIV Player's Speculation

• Highest iLvL will be i270
• Alexander: Leonidas gear shall be i250
• Warring Triad EX Trial shall drop i250 weapons
• New Tomestone - i260 Gear. Upgradeable to i270.
• Leonidas (Savage) shall drop i270 gear, and i260 -> i270 upgrade items
• Leonidas (Savage) gear shall be dyable.

3.5 - FFXIV Player's Speculation

• New 24 man raid that shall drop i260 gear.
• New 24 man raid will also drop i260 -> i270 Tome upgrade items
• No weapon upgrades off the bat, will be added in in a later patch
• Conclusion of the Warring Triad story in a fight against The Goddess
• EX Triad fight shall drop i265 weapons
• Conclusion of the Heavensward Main Scenario. Next stop - 4.0!

Things left out: PvP, Relic estimations. I don't know what SE has planned with that.

Keep in mind this is all idle speculation. I could turn out to be dead wrong.

Predictions*

It was 4:30 in the morning when I wrote this. Sorry folks.

I predict there won't be a 3.5. Patch 3.3 is wrapping up the dragonsong war and I think void ark is only going to be 2 parts instead of 3 like crystal tower so that will be done in 3.3. 3.4 will lead the story towards where the next expansion will be going and wrap up aleaxander. Should put the expansion at the end of the year or early next year.

As far as ilevels and gear I have no idea.

Fair enough. However, that would mean we'd have to have the Warring Triad conclude some point at 3.45 or the like, since we have 2 Eikons to go and no new Trial in 3.3, with Niddhog taking the place of the 2nd Triad encounter.

I don't think 3.4 will be thae last major patch. There has always been a catch up patch in the middle of the raid tier and it would hardly surprise me, if it could be different this time.

3.3 end the dragonsong war storyline for heavensward.
3.5 beginning of the new storyline for 4.0

The Heanvesward scenario ends on 3.3. Patchs 3.4 and 3.5 will introduce 4.0.

I think the name of the new Alexander will be Frigia. If we get the names of the current ones, we have the king Gordias (father, wher comes the Fist of the Father and etc), and his son (the fist of the son, etc), Midas. Both where fiction kings who ruled the Frigia region, where Turkey is now. THey are related with the myths attributed to Alexander the Great. I do not know the entire story, but I think can be something like that.

Also, I think we will fight first Sophia the Goddess in the 3.4, and the last one, Zurvan the Demon in 3.5. Because I think they are following the same order as Final Fantasy VI, where Zurvan was the last one.

3.3 is the conclusion of the dragonsong war... there's still more Heavensward story to tell, warriors of darkness, Ishgard rebellion, scions etc

3.3 next week

3.4 in september

3.5 december

4.0 ???

I'm pretty sure that regulus takes over kefkas spot. So maybe a 2 trials in the end?
