getting a strike on my account what now?

so as the title may say i got a strike on my account i have been contacted by the GM and got negotiated

i would get a 72 hour suspension but they only gave me a caution now what i am wondering is am i going to get monitort for every thing i do am i now on a list of people who violated rules?

how does it work now i have a strike does it mean when i get a second one that my account will be terminated or suspended for 72 hours than considert to maybe be terminated :confused:

I don't know for sure (not sure anyone outside of Square Enix does), but you're unlikely to be treated differently to any other player, regardless of what you did. They'll do as much checking on your activities as they do to anyone else.

I would just try to put it out of your head and carry on playing (and obviously be mindful that you don't break any further rules!)

Well I mean why should you be worried? Are you going to continue to do stuff that's against the rules?

What exactly did you do to get the strike if you don't mind us asking?

i edited the post it was a caution that i got from the GM not a warning

i am not saying what i did but it wasnt hacking or cheating in any matter i cant really discuss stuff like this on here

i all ready lost my account almost because some asshole reported me i am lucky the GM only gave me a caution or it would be a 3 day suspention and that could lead to termination of my account

the person who reported me wich i am sure of that he did it also stole from our FC chest the same day and fled to a diffrnt server

some things you just cant talk publicly and thats where i went wrong even if it was a FC member but i trusted him

so what do you think

Friend got a 72 hour a while back and it's the only additional software they ran with XIV never ran it again and didn't have any problems. I'd hate to lose an account and the thought of starting over and doing all those quests already makes me tired.

or... someone was on a witch hunt and was just reporting people who think are bots, my server is notorious for it, get /tells from people asking "Are you a bot?"

On a more serious note, I'd refrain from saying anything similiar that made you get a strike :x
