Housing Exterior Question

Can't quite find a clear answer to this - but am I locked to the style of exterior per location? Meaning I can't put a limsa style stone exterior in the lavender beds, right?

Just want to clarify. Also if it can't currently be done, well maybe it should be! ;)

you cannot trade styles across wards when it comes to exterior decorations. ( fences, walls, roofs, awnings/chimneys )

If you're in Lav Beds you can only use Lav Beds stuff.
If you're in Mist you can only use Mist Stuff.
Same with goblets.

I wish they would unlock it, but aesthetically it makes sense IMO. The mist stuffs looks amazing in the Mist because it matches the area, same with LB and Goblet.

I don't know if it helps, but you can use the airship workshop crafted exteriors in all three locations (Merchant's, Eatery, Outfitter's and Mogwall). The others are region specific though as Youkulm said.

Also, while you can't change walls, roofs or fences, you can use whatever Roof Decoration or Exterior Wall Decor you want. So, regardless of the name, you can use an Oasis Awning in the Mist, or a Riviera Wall Chimney in Lavender Beds.
