Probably a million like this - But . . Square, if you do Viera

Think about maybe allowing both the tall viera, and the short ones from the concept art you made. It's the same with midlander and highlander hyur. We have very few options for shorter cutesy males without going full lala. Make the short ones between the Miqo/Aura and the Lalas. Cause I really want to make a small cute male viera one day. Too many tall manly males.

Also the ears, pointed ears, floppy ears, round ears, short ears.

Just putting this out there in case you are listening Square/Yoshi. I really want another cutesy race/subrace where the males can be cute.

[also maybe a moppy/fluffy dandilion hairstyle that obscures the eyes kthanksbye]

SE has already stated they are not going to add Viera to FFXIV.

IF they view it as popular and there's a high enough demand, SE can be persuaded to add a Veira-like race.

And I agree with Mushi's idea, IF they add another race, I want the two tribes/clans/whatever to be distinct, not just recolors of the same models. (I'm not gonna hold my breath though, SE does have a track record with all the races, besides Hyur).

Remember though, Square Enix is a company, not a doting parent. Begging them for things doesn't mean they'll give it to you, even if it's a popular, incessant request.

Depends on what you ask for... if its a way to make a dollar, watch how fast things fly on the cash shop. They might make you wait a bit, but thats just to hype it up so people will buy it as soon as it lands lol. Looking at you Lightning attire and hair styles...

it's unlikely they add vierra because they have to rework all the helmets then. they placed the aura horns where other races have their ears to workaround this.

what happens when a vierra equips the bunny ears?

They remodeled some helmets for proper horn holes.
And 4 ears of course. We already have 2x tails on some outfits.

They could just put holes for the Viera's ears to come out. It would take a little modification though...
