Ceremony of Eternal Bonding error

Today, me and my partner had a scheduled time for 3:00pm my local time, 9:00pm his local time. We tried entering exactly at the start time but got kicked out and received this message "You have not been granted access to the Ivory Chapel and shall be removed from the premises". We were in a party equipped with our bracelets, and had matching ceremony plans. Nothing should've created a problem, but it didn't work. I don't know if this problem was caused because of recent server maintenance that made it so no one could schedule their ceremony for the rest of the week. Please fix the problem if there was one to begin with. I know that FFXIV staff doesn't do individual response, but I'd highly appreciate a respond to put me and my partner's mind at ease.
