inventory suggest
i like suggest a few good sugget for inventory reduction. first
all beast and retainers related currency go into other currency. second all relic quest items go in quest items bag. third a tackle bag can and could store all fish related bait.
I hope the dev notice these suggest and i not really sure where suggest them

They will probably notice but won't do anything about it considering they make money selling extra retainers... :(

Why not just give us x999 stack sizes!?...
That would surely make it easier to have more stack-able items at least!...
Having exclusive tabs for better organizing the different kind of items would be nice too although I always use the expanded inventory type!...

Honestly, I'd like them to give us a currency wallet, tackle box, increase the stack size, increase the armory chest, give us a free third retainer and a glamour log. While I'm at it I'd also like world peace and a pony.
Wait, I have a pony. It actually doesn't take up inventory space. How'd that happen?

999 stack size is unlikely as it would require more bytes to store the quantity. 255 would be max to be stored in one byte.
But it also depends on how the game encodes the data. Wild ARMs 2 had more than 255 items in the game and merged the item ID and quantity into two bytes. Quantity was stored as 2x of the actual quantity and an odd value in the quantity byte was overflow from and interpretted as being part of the item ID.
XIV has way more than 255 items and has a variety of attributes as part of the item data, so there really isn't a comparison between the two games. But point is sometimes something creative can be done to squeeze more meaningful data into the same number of bytes.
