Avatar Possession Job Class

An idea for the future summoner job class thats a bit non traditional to the series.

Instead of summoning a pet to your side to do battle, the player offers their body as a host to the Avatar/Spirit causing a type of demon possession and body disfiguration.

Examples

Carbuncle
Appearance: The player has a green fox tail and a big ruby on their forehead.
Role: Healer/Support

Fenrir
Appearance: The player has massive claws and a werewolf like head.
Role: Melee damage dealer

Tonberry
Appearance: Large ragged hood covering the body with shrouded face. Similar to the traditional tonberry look.
Role: Debuffer

Just an idea.

That would be cool, i did like druids in wow.

This sounds more like a combination of Blue Mage and Summoner. Interesting idea. Perhaps they can call this class a Channeler or Medium. I will of course suggest:

Moogle
Appearance: Player has a pom pom on his/her head and tiny bat wings.
Role: Dancer - Support/Debuff (FFVI and FFXI)

Haha that would be cool to see, if nothing else just for the awesome graphics on a character ^^

Although it does remind me alot of a WoW Druid just alot cooler ;p

Guess its like WoW's druid class in the whole shapeshifting element.

Ixion
Appearance: Player has a giant unicorn horn on their forehead and a horse like tail
Role: Thunder Based Magic Damage Dealer.

Sounds exactly like summoning in FFX. Except with changing your char.

Becoming animals class is named "Morphist", not "Summoner". The simple concept of Summoner/Evoker is to summon something to help you ^^:

The idea is valid, but the class isn't. We do can have more than one class dealing with avatars though...maybe a "Vessel" class that can be possessed by an avatar...it would be mainly the very same difference between beastmaster and morphist...one charms the monster to aid while the other transforms into the monster.
