Monk Gear Advice
Hello,
I recently returned to the game after a year away and I'm looking to get back into raiding. I just unlocked Midas Savage and I'm wondering what crafted pieces (And what materia i should put in them) I should purchase. I'm currently working on my relic weapon also. Are there any must have lore pieces?

Please pretend you didn't see what pants I'm wearing..
Cheers,
Blue

Crit crit crit. If it has crit you want it. Mnk crafted head, arms, lore body, midas normal pants. I think lore boots might have crit too

Thanks for the response. Is there no set amount of SS or DET we should shoot for while maintaining the highest amount of crit possible?

Aim for the highest STR (ilvl) first and the highest crit second.
The current gear cycle tends toward high SS so you will find yourself running low on TP under certain circumstances. Make the most of Purification. As a general rule, MNK wants to keep SS as low as possible as long as it does not conflict with STR/crit gains.
If you plan to do endgame raiding, accuracy will supercede crit as the most important secondary stat until you reach 100% hit rate.

Weapon(but you're getting reliq so skip this) > Head > Feet > Earrings > Chest > Ring > Belt for lore
Get every piece to i220, normal midan chest and legs and rest crafted.
If you're using grade IV materia melding priority is Crit > SkS > Det, if you're planning on going into savage meld acc until you reach acc cap for the savage you're working on.

With the update to Demolish, and the high SS gear that we naturally get. There is not set SS you need to shoot for to ensure you can do the 5PB > ToD > One Full Rotation (And Keep GL3) Opener. You'll technically be fine with anything about 430 or so IIRC but it might be a bit higher. Anyways, you'll be lucky if you find a SS build under 650.
