What arm equipment is this????????

Looking for the name of this piece of arm gear this character is using??? (The finger less glove that goes to his elbow)

They look like some kind of vambrace-type gauntlet to me, but vambraces usually have the fingers fully covered. So in hindsight, I think the closest might be some kind of fingerless gloves, higher level ones also having the plating on the arm as well as shown in that pic, such as these. That player has probably dyed them jet black as well which explains the glossy nature of them.
