limit FC housing more

Our entire housing is starting to be owned by a single Free Company. It's annoying to look at 1st ward in the Goblet taken over by 1 FC alone. It understandable a couple houses for transferring fc members from one house to the next but what fc needs 26 houses. Who actually can obtain even the 500 on average. It's obvious this is a huge disadvantage to many players. Added a lot of the solo FC housing where people can't take advantage of the housing assets and workshop.

Do you mean everyone there is buying private houses while their FC owns another house in the same ward? Houses are first come first serve. Just like in real life. If they wanted to limit FC housing now, they'd have to implement it in new wards. Like X ward can only be FC houses, while ward Y can be for FC houses and private houses.

And why not just suggest a special workshop at each grand company where you basically pay like 50 gil or something when you enter to basically 'rent' a workshop? That way FCs can work on their own airship stuff. Sure you wouldn't have a MB right near by, but it's in town so it isn't that bad of a walk, plus hundreds of FCs in each server in the least would finally be able to work on airship stuff and would finally no longer miss out in stuff from it.

If you mean that FC members are buying individual houses in the same ward their FC occupies, I'm not entirely sure if this is a bad thing or not. My personal house is right infront of our FC mansion and both houses are used very frequently. Houses are first come and first serve - my gripe would be if someone has 4-5 characters and buying plot after plot with each character with the intent of selling their rights for profit. That's what grinds my gears.

Since we occupied both the small house and the FC mansion our ward has seen some traffic, especially since allowing a few friends with no house of their own personal access to my place as well. If anything at all, I would love nothing more than other FCs or the wards to be populated with traffic. I like to sit on the roof of my house and watch people come and go - and I can't do that if the ward is empty =/

But yeah, one guy buying up all the real estate for gains - they can just go die in a fire.

^^ This need to be solved and resolved, I know someone has 5-6 plots at least. Two of them is Large (for his main & the other held by an Alt to sell), knowing the prices will be reduced he will definitely hoarder more, getting rid of the small(s) or using the remaing 2-3 characters to get the limited Large/Medium ones!

I do like the idea of friends being able to be tenants in your own personal home - before we bought our large mansion it was kind of nice and it was a boon and a half to get our large FC house like we did, where we did. Hard earned gil saved for that.

Sort of on and off topic, I do wish that they'd allow more tenant space in personal houses. Some of my friends have good FCs they belong to and they just like our company since we run things casually.

I am not shamed to admit those hoarders/resellers need to be brought to the light and outright shamed. Never mind it being against the TOS, I'm really tired of hearing these stories about 1 person owning multiple characters and multiple houses on one server. It isn't hard for an account manager to audit accounts in question. At the end of the day, S-E has the right to do so. S-E also needs to limit each acct to 1 FC and 1 Personal house per server despite how many chars you have.
