Sea of Clouds aether currents bugged

I just finished getting all of the Aether Currents in Sea of Clouds, all of the on foot ones and the ones from quests. So normally you would think I could fly right? Well according to my Aether Current checklist in game, I'm still missing a quest bound aether current, which as I've just said I have already done all the quests that give currents for the Sea of Clouds.

Ive checked online and according to the site, the quests required for Sea of Clouds are:
1. Flying the Nest
2. Sleepless in Ok' Zundu
3. Honoring the Past
4. Clipped Wings
5. Bolt Chain and Island

along with the 10 on foot currents.

If a GM would please contact me with some troubleshooting I would be appreciative.

Most guides indeed give Honering the past as an unlock quest. But this flowchart tells that there is a follow up quest "Search and Rescue" that leads to the aethercurrent. Perhaps you could try that.

yeah that quest does not say it gives an aether current in the quest text, while honoring the past does. they need to fix that.

want to update this post saying that Search and Rescue did indeed unlock the Aether current for me. I consider this closed but this does need to be fixed so people don't get confused like I did.
