So I really don't know how to gear...please help!! D:

I've tried searching a million times but I'm not really finding the answers I seek. I want to start pvp'ing a bit more but I just can't find out how exactly the ilvl sync works.

OK, so I want to go in as a WAR

1.now can I choose ANY peice of gear over ilvl 150 BUT I would want to choose gear with only the stats I want right? so I would'nt want stuff with high acc as far as what I've read. What I mean here is the stats of the gear will always be capped if the gear lvl is over 150(for whatever stats the gear has vit/str ...etc)

2. with vit changed for 3.2 would that make it more valuable than str in pvp?

3. the gear part really confuses me ... these stats are just made up.... if a ilvl160 weap had 100 str and 100 vit....... and an ilvl 170 had 120 str and 120 vit.... they would essentially be the same when it comes to ilvl 150 sync in pvp correct?

4. for WAR i was thinking my priority should be crit...vit...str...det ?

Just choose gear that meets those caps and has the stats that you would like. I don't personally play warrior so i can't tell you exactly what you should be building. I'm sure killer mc beast or one of the other wars will stop by and help you out in that regard.

A very simple rule of thumbs is any i190 or i180pvp piece will cap out in i150 sync pvp.

If a piece is a blue, green or purple with an ilevel of i190 or higher and it has your primary and the 2 secondaries that you want it is your Best in Slot.

Gearing WAR for Feast, however, is a little different than PLD, so this is not a post for all tanks.

Parry is useless, at least in my opinion, and I would replace that with a much more important stat like crit or ss. Skillspeed you say!? Oh baby, getting your wrath up is literally one of the most important things you can do as a WAR because FELL CLEAVE. A double crit Fell Cleave can hit as hard as an lb and drop a person. (besides all the other fun stuff like pestering healers, ruining bard bursts, etc. Although PLD are much better at pestering healers than us. We're like a third dps for a majority of the time)

So my WAR is built around crit and SS, then det.

Dont underestimate the importance of accuracy. I sacrifice a little bit of SS with some acc. Ive seen my FC miss before when I was under 400 acc where blind can throw a wrench in your burst. I know some players who go in with 360 acc or around that. Id rather play it safe than risk missing a crucial hit.
