Aether Feast League: 4v4 Scrims. (AFL)

Information:

Casual league within the Aether Data Centre to help organise First to Five sets between teams, across the Aether Data Center consistently. This means all team participants will have the right and opportunity, to connect and play with any team within the league. This will help to keep the players connected and promote Light Party along the way. This is going to be On-Going in hopes for Endless battles.

Requirements:

Discord & Skype. (Voice is not needed, everything will be conducted via Text)
Full team. Minimum 4 Players. (Obviously) With one Team Representative per team.

Matchmaking:

Matches will be organised by ourselves, within the forum and/or in the Skype group.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The Team Representative Skype Group will not be a place for off-topic socialising. So please keep the off-topic posts to a minimum.
If possible keep it out of the chat entirely. Thank you :)

How to Apply:

1. Post your Full Team & Team Representative here in this thread.
2. Team Representative must send a friend request to me on Discord: Jazzofetro#3568
3. On Discord, PM your Skype Name to me. I will add you to the “Team Representatives” Skype group.

Rules & Agreements:

All Team Representatives must read the rules and understand them.

Will to Play
Every team that joins the league is automatically confirming that are happy to play anyone and everyone within the league, in FT5 sets.

Team Representative
Each team must have 1 Team Representative. Who will then be added to the Skype group where the matches will be organised. Should the Team Representative change, the previous Representative will be removed from the group and the new one will be added.

Requesting a FT5
Request’s can be made by any means necessary, by the “Team Representatives” only. If a request is avoided, please inform “Etro’s Soul” as soon as possible.

Confirming a FT5
Confirmation of a FT5 must be made by both team Representatives in the Skype group. The two teams will then be Locked and the FT5 must be completed before further requests can be made. This will be shown on the forum. See example below.

Team A vs Team B (FT5 Pending 5th May 2016)

Time Limit
Once a FT5 has been confirmed, it must be completed within a 7 day period. The team who could not fulfil the agreement will not be able to request a FT5 until their “Pending FT5” has been completed.
If both teams are unable to fulfil the FT5, then both team Representatives must inform “Etro’s Soul” or “Tea Pan”. So we can void the “Pending FT5.”

Commencing a FT5
To avoid confusion both team Representatives must agree in the “Skype Group Chat” that their FT5 Session has started. If a FT5 must be put on hold mid way, this must be announced by one of the team Representatives before the next match is has started.

To assist increase the success rate of matching up together, have the Party Representatives use the “Eorzea Time” to synchronize matches through the DF. This can be done over Skype.
Completing a FT5
Both team Representatives must confirm that their set has been completed via Skype Group. Results are not needed just confirmation from both “team Representatives”. This will then be updated on the forums for all to see. See example below.

Example...

Skype Group:
“Completed FT5 with Team B” - Team A Representative
“Completed FT5 with Team A” - Team B Representative

Forum:
Team A vs. Team B (FT5 Completed 6th May 2016)

To publically release the results, both team Representatives must agree that they are happy to release the results on the forums. This can be done simply by posting the results within the skype group. If one Representative does not post the results they will not be included on the forums. Try to respect each other by communicating first, as one team may not want the members of the skype group to see the results. This will not be a punishable act, however it will be frowned upon. See examples below.

“Completed FT5 with Team A 0-5 Team B” - Team B Representative

Responsibility
It is the Team Representative’s responsibility to set up and organise FT5’s with each other. If the 7-day window to complete a FT5 is too short. Then please let “Etro’s Soul” or “Tea Pan”. And the situation will be reviewed.

Avoid
If one team beats another team in single FT5 Set, The losing team may “avoid” this group until they have completed 3 FT5 sets within the league. After 3 sets has been completed and recorded, their next FT5 must be with the team who is requesting a match with them.

If one team beats another team in two FT5 Sets in a row, The losing team may “avoid” this group until they have completed 6 FT5 sets within the organisation. After 6 sets has been completed and recorded, their next FT5 must be with the team who is challenging them.

If one team beats another team in three or more FT5 Sets, The losing team may “avoid” this group until they have completed 6 FT5 sets within the organisation. After 6 sets has been completed and recorded their next FT5 must be with the team who is challenging them. See example below.


Avoid Example:
Let’s say the League consists of 5 Teams. Team A, B, C, D & E.

Team A vs Team B (Completes FT5 5th May 2016)
Team A vs Team B (Completes FT5 6th May 2016)

Team A challenges Team B to a 3rd set. Team B chooses to “Avoid.”

Team B vs Team C (Completes FT5 7th May 2016) Set 1
Team B vs Team C (Completes FT5 8th May 2016) Set 2
Team B vs Team D (Completes FT5 9th May 2016) Set 3
Team B vs Team C (Completes FT5 10th May 2016) Set 4
Team B vs Team E (Completes FT5 11th May 2016) Set 5
Team B vs Team E (Completes FT5 12th May 2016) Set 6

Team B’s next FT5 must be with Team A before they have the right to request a FT5 with any other team in the organisation.
