FFXII Seasonal event. Can we have it?!

I would love to see Balthier and Fran teaming up for a seasonal event at FFXIV!

You mean a crossover? Usually the devs don't use crossover characters for a seasonal event.

There might be a little bit of hope considering the Lightning event.

The lightning event was still a crossover. They brought it back due to popular demand.

Crossover I meant a bit like lighting coming to ffxiv

Just as with the Lightning event, if they ever want to promote a new sequel to FFXII, there's a decent chance there could be an FFXIV tie-in.

The Lightning event wasn't just for funsies - it was a marketing gimmick to bring folks' attention to the FFXIII: Lightning Returns sequel.

They won't do a FFXII crossover unless there's some serious FFXII project in the works - and I rather doubt that at this point they have anything more planned for that game...

god no... fran was the least favourite ff character of mine out of all the games... steiner a very close 2nd lol

Which will launch in 2022.

I'd buy a remastered version of FFXII. The world in that game was amazing. Also, the gameplay was great with the Gambits. It was as close as I could get to playing an MMO back then because of not having a PC and still being on dialup at that time. lol.
