Login issues

Hi my friend is having issues logging into the forums since the launch of forums, he can log in the game fine and has no issues getting on the game. Just the forums he is getting this error

Details:

Steps:
1. pressed the "SQUARE ENIX Account” button in the upper right
2. Keyed in Square Enix ID & Password, then pressed the "Log In" button
3. Message "Temporary Session is invalid. Please try again." appeared as per pic attached


Date & Time: since the launch of Official Forum
Location: Singapore
Operating System: WIN 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Browser: Firefox

No solution? :(

Necro bump, but I have a friend also in Singapore who is experienceing the same error. Has never been able to log onto the official forums. Any solution to this?

I also had this issue recently, it persisted for a full 24 hours after I re-subscribed, and then magically, it vanished.

Nevermind, I took a second look at the OP and my error is not the same. I was actually getting this error:

Hi guys - a friend of mine is having this forced log off issue. Did it clear up for you DustyBottoms and Morri--Xen? His account expired and he had to wait a few hours before he reactivated it. During the waiting time he started getting the forced to be logged off issue, and he's wondering if you all waited 24 hours for it like Raldo did?
