Having ninjas being able to restore tp is great, but what if their goad skill could restore mp based on which venom they use? Something along the lines of having Kiss of the Wasp's goad increase the target's tp refresh rate, and Kiss of the Viper's goad increase the target's mp refresh rate or vice versa?
Just my thoughts. Feel free to shoot it down or explain to me if it would break the class
I like your idea for sure! It would bring more to the NIN Kisses. If support is what they intend Ninja to be then it's another nice touch to add to that. The only two issues I see:
1.(Needing to swap)For my static I have KotW in A6S for the stun. Say for arguments sake Wasp had TP rest and Viper had MP rest. In this situation I would have to switch to Viper to goad my healer with MP and then wait on the CD to change back to Wasp for the stun.. and vice versa depending on whether you needed the silence and dps needed tp. There is no dmg loss in doing that at all, it might just come at an inconvenient time.
That could be sorted with adjusting the CD on the kisses.
2.(Too much)There are some that would say NIN is the strongest melee due to what utility we have and for the most part I agree we them. TA, Smokescreen, Shadewalker, and Goad(TP).These are all very good utility and make ninja very good. Having a hand out MP regen would add to that and some would say it's a little OTT.
The idea is cool but id like to save that mp refresh version for a new job or something down the road, ninja does have that cool "duality" where the effects of certain cooldowns change based on whichever identical dps stance theyre currently in, so I love the idea expanding on this concepr but I have to agree that for the utility that they currently have, theyd have to sacrifice even more dps(wasp/viper now gives 15(or 10) percent damage increase) to deal with any more utility they already have, which i would hate to see. Its really the balancing act that they give the jobs which is fine, to a degree... honestly got no idea why a healer didnt get the enmity shift abilities that nin got, but its all pretty cool either way
I could see this being an addition in maybe 4.0 with the new expansion when everyone can get new traits and skills.
