Please Disable Skills and Abilities in Towns

There is no point in letting people spam things like Holy, Unleash, or whatever other annoying abilities people have to use. Please take away our ability to spam in towns, thank you.

Crafters and Gatherer's will rage though. And Monks can't use their speed up stance anymore.

You could also disable graphics for people not in your party.

Character Configuration > Control Settings > Character > Battle Effects Settings > Others (excl. PvP) > Show None

Uh, what? I'm putting on a light show to entertain people! It's an important job. Someone has to do it!

OP seems like they are very fun at parties.

Just Turn off other people there skill animations o=

I did that over a year ago. cant play with that firework of animations with a party by 4 or even in raids o.O

Then you better find a way for the early Archer quest to be accessible since I remember one class quest has you shooting targets in New Gridania which has you using abilities.

Pugilist has you beating up targets in Uldah for their early quests too.

Those skills can't be used anyway unless you have a valid target. OP is talking about Holy and other spammable skills that players can just hit over and over again without a target.

AoE skills should be unusable in the major cities - it could be a new decree from the Eorzean Alliance or something. It can get far too much & not everyone is able to, or wants to, disable graphics just because of the few who spam constantly.

It's something that's always left me divided because it's not a major issue but it can certainly become as annoying as textual or audio spamming.
