Max breed chocobo?
How hard is it to get a 4* in all chocobo? I've been trying for a while now got my Pedigree 9 chocobo and i keep breeding it but it just seems i get a tad unlucky xD
Is it absolutely needed or can i just ride along with lets say 3 stars in cunning & accel? Since i'm not planning to max those out?
Honestly i just want the best chocobo i can get to farm MGP with if they ever do bring out more stuff. and kill some time with=P
Any tips are welcome!

Is 20 stars necessary for mgp farming? absolutely not. I had a 24444 chocobo that won almost all the time against the npc's. 20 stars is only needed when you're competing against other people with 20 stars. And it will also get you a slightly better win ratio for mgp farming.
(Where you put your stats and what skills you use is super important, btw!)
As for breeding, just make sure that, for each stat, you have at least one 4 somewhere in your breeding pool, because otherwise you can breed forever and never get a 4 in that stat. If you have the 4s somewhere, it's just time and rng :/

hmm true! Just got bit in the ass rofl. think i'll use my old chocobo to breed again cause the one i currently have is not in my favor!
Well, off to the racing tracks to level this bad boy to 40 again xP

It's not to bad if you start breeding early and are willing to level up multiple sets of chocobos... you just have to invest a lot of MGP because you will throw away a lot of coverings in the process. I was able to get a female and male perfect parent chocobo's around pedigree 7/8 so I can guarantee myself some perfect stat Chocobo's. Just find what coverings have the most 4 star stats, breed 10 times, and pick whatever chocobo has the most 4 star stats and then go from there. I went through maybe 200-300 coverings picking a choosing as well as leveling up 2 chocobo's per pedigree after rank 5.

Right i will do that ty! Yeah i've been dumping a crapton of mgp on the coverings X:

What you can also do is instead of breeding over and over with covering, you can stick with a covering offspring with decent amount of stars and max stars, level that up to 40 and retire it as a better breeding partner.

There seems to be a lower chance of purchasing coverings with good stats starting around p6 or p7 so you might need to buy p5/6 coverings and train the offspring back up to p9.

I've finally got a 20 star chocobo after an crazy amount of hours non stop in the GC :D My next and final question is! How to put the stats in, Can i just from level one start feeding him Grade 3 food? Or is there a technique too it?

Awesome ty! so it doesn't matter if i do it right away? Cause someone told me to wait till level 20-30 for some reason(Don't ask me why xD)
