New furniture only accessible via Mogstation :(

I definitely don't like the approach they're going with this. Only a matter of time before special event quests/ class specific items are available there & in-game bonuses.

Edit: Well after reading several points about it being cosmetic, supposedly contributing to the game's wealth and remembering they've done nothing about complaints since the Sleipnir release, got sucked into buying them.

I strongly dislike an entire collection of furniture being put in the cash shop.

ETA: I can see the Cid outfit and the Biggs/Wedge outfit because it's NPC gear and not normal items, but our very first lamps with a visual effect... really?

To be fair, all of the furniture being offered in the shop are literally just special effect versions of furniture that already exists in the game. (the Dreadwyrm statue can be bought with Company Credits, the Carbuncle Lamp can be crafted, and the Moogle Plush can be crafted.) Them having effects is not really any different from the recolor mounts having special music, IMO.

OMG seriously? That cid glasses on cash shop? I really want wear it together with swimsuit :(

Also the carbuncle and moogle lamp is ridiculously beautiful too if you put the room brightness to dark...

This cash shop stuff is getting ridiculous yeah I don't have to buy it and I wont. But those statues could have been drops from Thornmarch or Coil, it's even more funny that it's $10.50 for an item you can lose forever.

Can't wait for the future posts in this thread saying how much they love their new items and brag about them like they did with the Bennu's and their Magitek Re-colors as if to spite people for being poor or something, those posts are always fun to see screencapped and posted on other forums.

Furniture being in the cash shop is fine, I don't think that's an issue tbh. That being said however, $5/$15 is a little excessive. The closest similarity to this I can think of is in SWTOR, they sell furnishings in the cash shop to, but similar items in that game are something like 1-3$ or less at most.

Especially with the furniture dry spell and primal run dry spell, it would've been fantastic :( Most upset due to how dull the furniture lull has been lately and they slap these in our faces.
