Posting up a thread for all the questions we have on the Deep Dungeon. Hopefully the mods will be able to use this for the next Live Letter.
- Will this dungeon allow leveling from L1 to L60?
- Do we need additional inventory space to enter this place, or does our existing gear "disappear" in this dungeon?
- When you say that our ilvl doesn't affect this dungeon, does this mean all of our gear becomes useless?
- Is leveling here faster than other dungeons?
- Are the dungeons linear with no branching paths?
- Are the dungeons randomly generated?
- Will players be rewarded bonuses for completing multiple floors consecutively?
-When solo'd is there precautions given to the player to survive better on their own? (like potion cooldowns and such)
-With multiple players do the difficulty rise or stay the same?
-After reaching the end of the dungeon (if the dungeon has an end) can the players repeat the dungeon floors?
I will answer the questions that have been covered by Yoshida.
Yes both your class level and item level are irrelevant. All players are normalised to the same entry point, whether it's a new player or a person with endgame gear, they will all start from scratch and make use of the items they find within Palace of the Dead. The gear you have from outside the Palace has no benefit.
It sounds like that because he said it's different every time you enter, but it could be interpreted other ways.
This is an interesting take on the regular dungeon formula. Will the new gear you acquire in the palace be on par with the lore gear and midas savage gear?
I think the first question would be if you can even remove Palace gear from Palace. It might only exist down there and not be comparable to equipment in the outside world. Since you can't use your normal gear against Palace enemies we couldn't compare the effectiveness.
disgaea doods!
- Will i be disappointed by finding out its a slightly different version of an already existing systeM? (diadem hunts)
i sure hope not.
Well it may be different every time you enter but just the layout really i would think, nothing to the extreme. Perhaps similar to some of the Zelda games :)
Also it was said some areas cannot use magic? Ok, well i am a blm, so how does this effect us casters?
