Can't Beat "In the Eyes of Gods and Men" Story uest

Like the title says: I've tried this one a Scholar, Ninja AND a Summoner and I can't beat this fight. No matter what I do the healers can't be killed since they can self cast Cure and regain all their health faster than I can damage them. All the AoE warnings make it near impossible to be a caster since your constantly canceling yourself.

How am I supposed to do this? Seriously frustrated and almost thinking this is impossible, yet my friends who play and Paladin and a Dragoon had no issue with it for some reason. :mad:

Is your gear up to par?

The healer should go down, albeit a lil stubbornly, if your gear is decent and you know your rotations. Just kill him first.

Smn use ifrit, keep up full dots and ruin spam between recasting dots. Focus on healer and there shouldn't be enough aoes in that part of the fight to make casting impossible or even difficult really. Not keeping on top of gear is usually the main issue new players have. But you don't even need to buy anything expensive as the game literally hands you tons of gear as you play through.
