I'm looking to transfer from another server

I want to transfer from another server. Mine is dying, I have not done any of the end-game raid content since November since our Static disbanded out of frustration on the difficulty of Savage (And for us it was difficult. We beat turn 13 before the nerf and Savage was nothing like we'd faced before)

I'm getting tired and a bit melancholy toward this game. I can't find a raid group worth a damn, and so I ask; tell me about your server, the population (Good and Bad) the End-Game content "Scene." How populated are not only the Large Cities (Mor Dohna or Idllyshire), but the lesser populated areas like Ul'Dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa.

If I transfer here, I would hope it would be a good fit and not something similar to what I already have.

Hi Isamu666; As much as I love Siren and hate to admit it... our server doesn't sound a great deal better than the one you are looking at transferring away from if end game content is what you are looking for. Whilst we do have FC's that fair pretty well in end game content the overall population is not as large as some of the other servers. There are statics who recruit in game but the realm forums here are pretty quiet as you have provably surmised already.. what with the lack of responses and all. Hope this helps in your decision making.

I've only ever played on Lamia myself, it's pretty active and I see more and more sprouts every day. We have several high skilled statics and FCs, currently I know of at least two FCs that are selling all ex primals and A5S/A6S. Idyllshire has at least 30-50 non AFK players during peak hours and most of the community is relatively friendly, I've met a ton of people in my old FC, farming primals and requesting crafting. In my opinion most of the endgame population is casual but I see statics in PF daily. I've met some great people on Lamia and I realize I may be biased because of it but I think Lamia is an awesome server. I'd suggest creating an alt here and doing a player search to see if you like what you see and just randomly shoot the shit with people.

I've just started playing on Siren and I have to say from what I've seen it's not very active. People are VERY quiet. I did end up finding a good group, but if you're looking for a rich community it's probably not the direction you want to go.

I came here from Faerie and I must say Faerie has a wonderful community! The population is thriving and you can always find people to chat with or RP with. People are also generally very nice! There are also always lots of PFs up for end game content and a wide variety of FCs to choose from. It may be closer to what you seek :o

If its raiding that you're looking for then Gilgamesh might be the server for you.
