as it stands, mini games don't offer much in challenge or rewards, you get a handful of mgp if you do well, and no bonuses for "chaining" high scores together. Mayhaps add achievements for chaining highest scores together?
ex. Get a toy hammer minion for getting 50 perfects in a row on crystal tower game? or add mgp multiplier for 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x perfects in a row?
50 perfects in a row? Ouch, that sounds like it would be more of a headache than an incentive. I think the mini games are what they are, silly little games to pass a few seconds while you wait for a GATE, Chocobo race, cactpot reset etc. I don't think there's a need for them to be much more than that.
I do like the incentive to play well that the challenge log gives. So good, and you can move on to the next one faster.
Maybe chains gained by perfect plays would be neat, something akin to doubling the next game's score if you do well one time. But I'd want them to be at best as good as chocobo racing/triple triad.
I think the mini games are good the way they are, especially the new ones. Out on a Limb is one of the best ways to get MGP right now, especially with the challenge log bonuses.
