Error 2146697208

Hey all,
I have been up and down the internet looking for an answer to solve this issue. I've tried EVERYTHING from resetting my browser settings, forwarding ports myself and asking my ISP, turning off firewalls, disabling anti-virus. Re-installing and nothing helps. I have even called Squenix and after about an hour, i was told to install directx and call back (felt like he was just trying to get rid of me, tbh). He did try though and i appreciate that.

I'm not one to bother others with my issues but, I've come to a stalemate with research. If anyone may have any insight at all it would be more than appreciated.

One thing of note, the date is sometimes ahead of what I have. I have even attempted to match it using windows settings and that does not work either.

Just a quick update;

I used a wireless dongle and tethered my phone to see if the laucher would actually connect and Lo, it did. So it is DEF something on my PC. Any help would be appreciated... i miss playing =/

I reset my router and all is well..dunno why that fixed it. Would rather have known the cause, so i could help others.
