I server transferred to Gilgamesh and discarded my eternity ring from my inventory. Then when I wanted to do the quest to get married again it says I'm still married because I haven't annulled the bond. To annul the bond I need to turn in my ring which I can't do because I discarded it. Can this be fixed?
There should be an NPC you need to talk to in the Church area. I didn't need to turn my previous ring when I had my previous engagement annulled.
I tried again today and i still can't do it. I'm pretty sure i'm bugged unless they can somehow force the divorce.
Check with one of the town vendors that re-sells the seasonal, event rewards, and calamity stuff. I am not sure but maybe you can re-purchase the ring there?
Checked today and i can't buy it :(. Anyone else might have an idea on what i could do?
Going to bump this as I have a similar issue at the moment (albeit not related to a server transfer).
As far as I was aware, it was not possible to simply discard the eternity ring, but it seems like I cannot annul my Bond unless I have it, which I do not.
I've checked my retainer inventories, I've checked my stored and sent private mails, I've checked my inventory, I've checked my armoire, and it's not available for resale from a Calamity Salvager.
Where could it be? And how can I get it back to annul my current Bond? I tried to submit a bug report, but this is apparently not a bug so I'm a bit lost as to how to find it.
