When 2.0 we are allow to alter our Character for the new engine, will SE let us change our name too? Since I want to start fresh and change my character and looking forward to but don't want to start over. Since we are allow to re-customize our Character, why not our name too?

It doesn't go without saying, but this is already being discussed here. All sorts of suitable posts including one from Yoshi-P.
Yoshi said we could completely remake our character so yea... goes without saying.
what about the players who change the race from female miqo'te to male miqo'te? can they change their names?
Well you get to go through the character creation all over again and naming your character is part of that process so I'd assume that we can rename.

kind of a logistics nightmare either way unless you picked a gender neutral name.
though with a first name and a last name the chances of people clashing when they try to change is drastically reduced.
