7/11 Promotion - Changing Region?

Hello!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I could use some help.

I bought my game and registered it in the UK around 3(ish) years ago or so. However, I now reside in Japan and will live here for the forseeable.

As I'm sure everyone is aware, 7/11 Japan currently has a promotion going on in which certain items distribute codes for giveaways such as butler outfit, white chocobo, etc..

However...none of these codes are able to be used on my mogstation as they are region locked! Is there absolutely no way around this? I am a Japanese resident now, and if there is no way for this to be changed, then I will never experience the giveaway even if it is distrubuted in Europe, as I obviously no longer live there..

It all just seems rather unfair as I have regularly given 7/11 japan custom and am entitled to these items.

You are not entitled to anything. I live in Japan too and have an EU account. Too bad. Kind of a lame decision by SE to region lock it but I highly doubt it will be run as a convenience store promotion in the west. They'll probably attach it to something else like a pre-order of some SE game or something.

Unfortunately you can't change your account region, ever. Even if you move like you have. I don't know why SE are quite so strict on this, but unfortunately this just seems to be their policy :(

This really sucks >_> Its like the non JP side is always getting the short end of the stick when it comes to promotions =/
