I wanna be able to target dead ppl and mobs

I feel it's really weird to not be able to target dead party members to cast raise on them or target dead mobs and use the drain MP spell on THM.

I have to go in and select said spell and then target them with it.

It would be a lot easier to "tab" over said mob/dead Pt member hit "enter" have it pop up my action bar hit my spell and cast it!

I would like dead things to be able to be targeted the way living things are.

I guess it could be bad to be able to target dead mobs but dead players should be able to be targeted. ^_^ IMO.

Looking at this at a practical stand point- dude that kind of thinking is creepy,lol. For the interest in raising a dead adventurer, it's totally understandable. Yes, target, click- options and raise does make a lot of sense but I don't see how it would hurt to select the spell first then the objective. Seems like a one-way street.

For targeting dead PT members you can actually select their name in the PT list then use raise/rebirth. As for the dead mobs, yeah, it can be annoying at times but maybe this will be addressed at a later time. ;)

The unability to target dead people only bothers me when I am a passerby. I can't target them to use a quick /t <t> Hello, need raise? message. I can't target them for a quick shout /sh Excuse me... <t> Found it! @ <pos> Raise. Please assist.

Otherwise it is ok to not be able to target dead things.

It would be a big hassle if in a busy party, under a threat of dying because so many mobs linked, I have even more trouble selecting correct target to attack next because my cursor would have a possibility to target an already dead enemy.

See my thing was, back in FF11 as a WHM and I enjoyed RPing a little.

So when I was called for a raise or whatever I would always /kneel on the dead player as if to say a payer over them before casting raise for them. Just something that was fun for me. :) That's why I like the idea of being able to target our fallen Pt members.

As for mobs it's prolly a good thing we can't easily target them. lol

Oh if that, I think I can help you work around the issue. Not sure, though, if this syntax will work this way.

Maybe you can make a macro;
/action Raise <st>
/kneel <lastst>

But this, of course, will make you start raising before the kneel emote. Might conflict with the casting motion, so you might wanna add /wait 5 before /kneel.

This actually bugs the heck out of me as a Thaumaturge, yes. <_< I forget to drink so many delicious corpses because they're untargetable!

Ah thanks I will give it a shot with that macro idea.
