Can't log in Primal/Excalibur after maintenance (error 90002) - other servers fine

I can't log into my character at all, I get a 90002 every time during the loading screen. I can make a test character on another server and that logs in just fine, but I can't log into Excalibur at all. Not even a queue.

I had precious little time to play this morning, but I won't get to at all. But really I hope this is addressed because it's just flat out not working.

Update: things I've tried are rebooting modem/router/PC multiple times, flush DNS, no change.

I then tried a game tunnel service (in this case Pingzapper) and it actually let me connect. So this brings up a significant issue: why can I not connect to the server with my default connection? I don't want to have to pay for another service just to play the game.
