I went on search and couldn't find anyone mention it. What my question is, we technically got a free trial not used since we have not had any actual payments towards this game yet. Are we going to have to pay the first month when payment reopens after 1.20 if we had that free trial to begin with?
Either a good question, or a dumb one, but curious none-the-less.

I believe the original delay of billing used the words, 'Free Trial extended', so this has been our (very long) free trial. At first it was just increased from 30 to 60 days, then indefinitely.

I'm not sure what happens with people that haven't bought the game and do so or register after the payment period starts, but for sure, we've had 13 months of free play. We'll get three more months before/during 2.0. I think that's more than enough.

Not that I necessarily care, I will throw my money at them regardless, but people in the LS were talking about it. They did say "Extended Free Trial". So I guess that does answer my question.

Could have sworn I read that when the PS3 version launches there will be a new free trial which will be two months instead of one and everyone gets it. Could be wrong though.

lol I asked this on another thread also, don't really care but was just curious since CE version people was supposed to get 30 days free but technically non-CE people got it free as well. Either way I don't care still gonna pay for it either way but just wanted to see what the SE would say about this.

My understanding of the trial period, at least based on the account information and subscription page, is that if you bought and activated your FFXIV, your thirty day trial period starts then. So if you buy and active your game two days before SE charges everyone else, you still have twenty eight days remaining before SE charges you a subscription fee.Quote:
