Ideas to get rid of leeches in farming parties

Yes that's right!! Had 2 leeches yesterday who told leader to put sepex farming party instead of P3 practice party. Of course the leader is not dishonest like that and continued on as P3 practice party. They also admit to going to farming parties when they have not cleared and no effort whatsoever on their side.

I don't condemn people who lag or those who are honest that they went close to completing the dungeon. Its these kind of people who try to sneak in, pretend to know everything and ending up as a wipefest. There are plenty practice parties. Why go for farming parties and just wipe everything. I am stressed out.

Ideas to have another requirement in party finder for farming parties? How about specific player recommendations for the dungeon itself plus number of times cleared for the dungeon? Would it able to get a suitable farming party? Would like to know what you guys think :D

Second reaction: How to get rid of Leeches... rename the spell to something else. Cleansing tonic, whatever.

In all seriousness, though, this has pretty much always been a problem =/ I think the suggestion I've personally liked the best was to have an option in PF, similar to all those "multiple runs for the loot", "serious play", "newcomers welcome" and all those checkboxes. Call it "clear required" or whatever, and have it check for an "instance cleared" flag for the listed instance. If you have cleared said run, PF allows you to join said listing. If you haven't, you get an error message, something like, "Unable to join party. Requirements not met."

Such an option would reduce the number of leeches in farm parties. Could it be abused? Certainly. Pretty much everything in this game can be abused in some way, if you want to. Would it eradicate leeches entirely? No. You always have those who managed to get carried at some point, or those who bought their clear run from someone. Another risk with this option is that the number of run sales would skyrocket, which in turn would promote RMT (cos those runs aren't exactly cheap).

The good thing with PF is that by joining a party via PF, you automatically agree to the terms listed for the party you join. Which means that if they break those terms (e.g. by not having cleared it when it's a farm party) I believe it's fair grounds for reporting them? At least last I heard, that was one acceptable reason for reporting people. The bad thing is that you can't know for certain until you actually join the instance, and it adds a lot more stress to the group as a whole, with finger-pointing every which way and time lost and potential food buffs ticking down and, you know. Stuff that's generally Not Good for a party and is likely to contribute to its disbandment.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can't if the party leader has you blacklisted (or if you have blacklisted the party leader). I could be wrong, though.

Indeed. There are some who barely cleared. If could set it to some min requirement of 3 x dungeon completion would it be better? Had plenty drama yesterday and one of them in my BL. If some new people came into farming parties and claim they were close to completing the dungeon, we wouldn't know either :C

If you are leader than maybe yes, they couldn't come (This I don't know for sure). But if you are in a party with someone else as a leader than those you have BL can come. Just their names greyed out and you cant see their chat. That is what I know from my FC buddies. A loop hole there. BL is for them not to join you in DF instead and no PM from them.

My grandmother always said salt was the best way to deal with leeches.
