PS4 "Unable to Download Patch files [20512][25008]"

Hello Tech support department, I have encountered this major issue this evening. My PS3 recently died so I got a PS4 and got the license and everything done for it, but when I tried to patch my files I got to a specific point before it booted me and gave me the message the title relays. I discussed this with a tech-savvy friend and tried re-downloading/installing, redoing my drives, and doing safe mode. None of these worked sadly. My friend thinks its something in the patch while I am frustrated and distraught.
