Anima crystals not dropping

Me and a friend have been having problems ever since we came back from a long break, non of the crystals have been dropping for 4 days an 1-2 hour each day grinding, also switching areas. I'm well aware of the low drop rate but this seems slightly odd. Back when Anima crystals were introduced we had no problem. After a month it was released we took a break, currently right now we just came back 2 weeks ago and no luck. I'm unsure if they did something different in the recent patches the allows you to pick them up, but before you didn't need the quest or a lvl 60 to pick them up. As I said its me and a friend that took a break about the same time I did and not a single one.

I'm pretty sure you have always needed the quest active for the crystals to drop. Never heard of anyone getting a crystal drop without the quest at least.

Even so I already grabbed the quest and still haven't had luck.

Throughout stubborness I manage to finally get one, my apologizes. Perhaps the rng gods forgave me and now laughing at me. lol

RNG is always funny :p
At times, you can go hours without getting anything. Other times, you get 10 crystals back to back
