Mission impossible to travel to.

Forever taken is impossible to get to , well very hard at least.
I first tried go coerthas - mor dhona got to camp revenant's toll, then thought hang on may not be able get there this way so i tried out the route from the black shroud but only got as far as murmur rills where there are lv 95+ agressive monster in small space .so very hard to avoid them; died over 20 times from restarting on my chocobo at murmur rills.

I see thanalan also has entrance into mor dhona.

Anyone know which route i should take to get there?

I only managed to do this quest thanks to a kind person teleporting me there. I had no idea I could get teleported to a Aetheryte I've never touched before.

This needs to be fixed actually. I was helping a level 35 try to do this mission and we just couldn't get past the stupid level 75-99 mobs blocking all the paths. Really SE, that was plain dumb. The paths from Black Shroud to the area you need to be at in Mor dhona is blocked, completely. This wasn't the case earlier in the year when I was able to do it myself.

As a level 50, i got one-shotted by some level 75 mob for 7600+ damage range attack, wow, just stupid. This mission so far seems to be extremely difficult for a couple people to do at low levels let alone a solo player trying for the life of them to figure out how to get past all the mobs from either zone blocking the paths.

Please fix this.

I've got the same problem. Tried it at as a lvl 36 CNJ and got to Murmur Rills and was then ganged up on by baddies that seemed to be lvl 75s (or at least one showed to be) I'll try the top route next or see if some kind soul can give me a tele, but if this is going to be a lvl 34 mission it would be nice to be able to make it through on my own.
I'm not sure why you changed it so people COULDN'T get through when they had been able to, but this really needs to be fixed!!!

Yeah sure, to be able to get past a group of agressive lvl 95 monsters when you are actually rank 34 totally means "expecting everything to be handed to them"..:rolleyes:

There's a difference between hard and being blocked by oneshotting ranged mobs. There's neither balance nor skill involved in this case, just tedium. Crawl back under your bridge.

From Black Shroud there is a way there that has only 55s, you are just trying the most direct path. I went the longest way there (the most north way) and only died once when I also tried the fastest path. The 55s will not one shot you at 34, as I ran past a few and just took the hits on 34 lnc and then ran out of range (this was before I got my own choco). They are also sight so all I had to do was wait till they turned. Friend did it a few days ago on 34 con, even after I said I would help on my 42 lnc by aggroing them for him and running ahead. He died 2 times. Its a little hard only compared to all the other easy missions, was nice to have to try and do a mission for once and die rather than the easy walk through that is the other missions.

There are 2 paths you can go on, a north path and south one in the black shroud. The north path has very little agro mobs and is much wider than the southern path. Go past camp crimson bark(i think). And head around that north path.

i moved thru BlackShroud->Coerthnas->Mor Dholona->BlackShroud as part of r34 mission (where need 5 crystals) , ya i died few times , but i set homepoint every camp i reached , so when i died i was not tossed so far.
