What Was Your Favorite Part Of Hatching Tide 2016?

What was your favorite part of this year's Hatching Tide event?

• The quest (complete with bonus scene)?
• The repeatable mini-games and FATEs?
• The Pa-Paya orchestrion roll?
• The goodies (barding, spriggan cap, dust-bunny minion, Archon Egg Tower)?
• The 'eggcellent' puns? (I don't know about other servers, but at times on Balmung, it was hilarious!)

For me, it was everything. As a legacy player, I've participated in almost every seasonal event this game has had to offer, and I have to say I feel that this one was one of the best designed in regards to fun factor. The mini games were brief but more involved than just a couple clicks and done. The event FATE actually spawned in town AND in three different places, so you didn't have to go outside and camp it and it was up quite often. The orchestrion roll is a tune that's silly and catchy. People who were never lucky enough to get a spriggan cap from a map could obtain one, and new players who aren't able to buy a dust bunny minion with tomes could get one too. I wasn't prepared for the Archon Egg Tower to be as big as a Starlight Tree, wow! Plus, the quest was just full of good feels.

Watching people desperately trying to chase the egg and lamenting the fact that I will soon be one of those poor souls...then stepping out of the amphitheater, watching the egg literally stop right in front of me, turning around, and turning the quest in.

Definitely watching people chase the egg.

Finishing it and not having to do it anymore.

Oh cool, I didn't realize that scene at the end was a bonus contingent on if you did the quests in tailfeather. I kind of felt bad for that NPC so it's good to see what he was doing lately.

It's just some extra text and a familar NPC face (Like he is the only NPC literally with that "face" that I know lol... "baby faced" I guess). If people missed those quests they can go find that guy in tailfeather to do them, but requires MSQ done up to that point I believe.

I enjoyed this event. It was pretty amusing to do and watch others do it as well.

To be honest I don't really enjoy any of the events, I do them just for the cosmetics/achievement. My favourite was Lightning event because you actually had to quest...I suppose the most fun thing this event was seeing the huge egg roll around.
