How do you know your dps is low ? We would first need to see or know what you're doing to actually help :).
Well, I was at the Avery, and when we got to Nidhogg, and we got to the part where we were supposed to protect Einstien, we ended up wiping on that part and the tank basically said that I was not killing the adds fast enough. I was doing maybe 400 to 500 per hit. The 2nd time we did it we got past that part, but the tank screwed up and got himself killed. The healer rezzed him, and before you know the healer ran out of MP which caused me and another DPS to die and the party started falling like a house of cards. After that, the party kicked me out. So I don't know if its me that's doing something wrong or I just ended up in a bad party.
It could have just been a bad party. For all you know the other dps could have been doing bad. It is hard to tell if you are without being able to see what you were doing
It's pretty man to know once you learn to stance dance and know how gauss barrel works and know how to use your turrets on situation it's pretty straight forward also knowing when to quick reload and to reload is beneficial for quick shots in gauss barrel stance if you can use rapid fire and use spread shot on adds it helps a lil but don't worry man we're not fucking pros 1st time ignore those guys
