Grand Company - promotions - hunting log

The flame personnel officer indicates for a promotion I need to compete rank 1 of the hunting log. I have done so, and in fact worked to complete rank 5 as my white mage.
Any ideas why the disconnect?

There are separate lists in the hunting log not only for each class but also for the grand company. Make sure you're looking at the Immortal Flames section rather than the conjurer one.
