Upgraded primal rod

So, we can now exchange old primal scepter for rod, but what about the upgraded version? I was happy that I could finally use ifrit's weapon as my blm weapon, but I can't upgrade it for the aura. Strange fact is that they didn't forget to make a replic item for the blm allagan rod to dye it.

I'm not sure how the exchange works. Was there an option to turn in an upgraded version of the scepter for an upgraded version of the rod?

Nope, they've commented (not sure if it was in patch notes or in a dev response comment somewhere) before that there's as of yet no crafted** version of the new 2H primal weapons. I... just don't understand why they wouldn't implement those at the same time.

**)Or, theoretically, upgraded version, since Shiva/Levi weapons don't use crafts to upgrade.

TY for reminding me ^^ I knew I'd read it somewhere, but couldn't remember where. I'm still of the opinion they should have delayed those 2H weapons until they were ready to release the upgrades as well. But as long as it doesn't take two patches for them to implement the upgrades, I'm just happy they are fixing it.
(Of course, I'm also of the opinion that it would have been better if they'd tweaked the glamour system to allow the glamouring of 1H weapons on top of 2H weapons. Then all of this would have been auto-fixed ^^; )

There isn't you can just exchange the normal version of the scepter for the rod. I thought they would add a craft for the upgraded version

This was relayed to us on the forums from the Devs. They are planning on releasing the crafted versions in a future patch along with other weapons. The first set are probably the ones that were ready to go live while the others most likely require tweaks and adjustments before they are pushed. Just know, that they will be released at some point in the future.
