I had what i feel is a great idea that would be able to use a lot of already existing game resources. Hear me out.
I am absolutely terrible at turning text/ms paint that I am looking at, into a tangible image in my head. For some reason in video games I am completely tactile/visual learner and completely abysmal at strat discussion comprehension. I remember Titan EX took me ungodly long to even understand the bomb patterns. Once i saw them drop it was like OH DUH THAT MAKES SENSE NOW. Too often I run into a fight and when someone tries to explain the fight to me, it's like trying to explain something to someone who speaks a different language. Frequently using markers and "generalized concepts" due to not wanting to engage the boss or trigger the fight yet.
SO, my idea is a room in the housing / towns / wherever it might be convenient to add where players can enter an arena and walk around the floor to discuss positioning for a fight? You could have a control panel to change the "instance" background and arena size to accommodate the group possibly. Maybe have moveable enemy statues (or even training dummies) so you can set up positions in a fight to explain mechanics? I feel like this would give something similar to the orchestrion scrolls where you could collect enemy statues maybe?
If this ends up not being something that is worth dev time / player interest, a low investment (of both) alternative could be being able to lock a fight where the enemy is not present / not aggroing / invincible before the fight so players could move around the arena and discuss things without fear of triggering the lockout / rage timer?
