Have any melee classes been experiencing very 'buggy' out of range messages when they're literally right at the border of the target indicator even after they've been performing combos or using other abilities seamlessly? I've been starting to experience this since 3.22 and it's annoying TF out of me. Leg sweep in between GCDs just not going off for the full 2.39s GCD, spineshatter dive not working when i'm like <5y away, my character not auto facing the target to do an ability because i'm "out of range".
Connection and everything else on my end is fine.
"Connection: Excellent" but getting all sorts of "Out of Range" when i'm 1yalm away..

Do you have auto facing target turned on? I've gotten this when I have it turned off.

I'm pretty sure I have it turned on because I've never turned it off. I'll double check.
update: It looks like "Automatically face target when using action" is disabled when I check it. Is this default unselected now since one of these patches? I've been "auto facing" target literally for over the year plus I've been playing this game as both BLM main in 2.0 and DRG main in 3.0...

That's really weird that it got disabled. The only time I ever disable it is when I heal T7, and I always inevitably go on to something else as either a tank or a melee dps and have a "wtf?!" moment when I can't get any of my combat skills to work correctly. xD

You may have just disabled it accidentally (pretty sure there is a default keybind for it). I actually did that once looking for another option...
I think this error can also appear if you are too far above or below the target (though, it may be a different error. Can't remember) -

It can be toggelable by the /autofacetarget command or forced to on with: /autofacetarget on
