Corrupted Character data

I'm currently unable to log in with my character Sediment Sandston and I'm told that my character data is corrupted. Is there any way for Sediment's data to be restored?

For some people, this means that your local data files are messed up. Are you a PC player?

If PC player, you may have to delete you character data folder from C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

The character folder looks something like this: FFXIV_CHR004000xxxxxxxxxx

You may want to make a backup copy of any data you delete... some of it may be recoverable, like your Gearset or Macro files. Those are probably the most time consuming to reset after you get back into the game. (the rest of the display, sound stuff, not so hard.) Maybe UI or HUD layout could be a pain though....
