Sorry if this has been asked before ;A; I poked around the forums and couldn't find another topic like this so I hope this is okay.
Yesterday I downloaded the trial and I only played it for a little while because it was late but anyway, when I went to log on today it asked me for a one time password. I thought that because I only have the trial version I wouldn't have to buy the token thing or the app.
Do you still have to buy the token or app to play the trial?
If you haven't set up the one time password to your account, it shouldn't require it. The login window has room for it, but you should be fine just by leaving it blank when you hit log-in button. It's not automatically required even when you have got the actual account. It only becomes required if you add the service to your account. Also, if you have a smartphone to which download the free one time key app, you don't have to buy any sort of token thing, in that case using it is free.
Yes, it's never required. You did, however, catch the implementation of a change in the login form. Before, it used to just ask for login and password and THEN Check to see if you had a security key on the account. If you did, it asked you for the one-time password then. Now, it's simpler in that it goes ahead and gives you the box for the one-time password so you can just fill out a single form to log in (and leave it blank if it's not applicable to you).
