Foolish Question Perhaps.

I am trying to complete the Bard relic weapon quest. This requires two materia to be melded to a bow. I have the bow and the materia but my Carpentry is nowhere near high enough to do the melding. Is there any other way to meld the materia? Or do I have to tough out the other 25 levels?

You can get someone else to meld for you. Shout or ask in a FC or LS. Then you click on the person and choose "Request Meld." You must have the item, materia, and catalyst.
