You'll have to make a brand new character and start from scratch, or wait until we go go to the void in 3.3(please look forward to it)
Nothing should happen to your character. There are so many players who don't pay attention to the maint warnings, that it would be inexcusable if that were a thing.
Inb4 super secret alternate dimension Eorzea is discovered that can only be accessed by teleporting at the EXACT time the servers go down. :x
