I'm stoked!! I know that I'll have to work more on my marauder now than my gladiator, but.. warrior. And the armor they showed was even red.
Give me a pair of 1h Axes and some dual wield and turn me loose!!!!!
Or give me some badass 2h axe weapon skills, I don't care. My favorite MMO times ever were WAR/MNK tanking with a 2h axe like a champ, or WAR/NIN dual wielding and absorbing dmg. I know it won't be exactly like it was (which is good).. But I am so looking forward to once again.. just being a WAR.

Edit 2: Sweet, I'ma be the only WAR in the XIV universe... Do I get sturmwind?

no... the warrior really was never a massive damage dealing class under the melee classes. -
